Henley, III of the Capitol Region Education Council (CREC) at the organization’s annual start-of-the-school-year kick off, “FallStaff 48!” in Harford, CT on August 22, 2014.
A proud supporter of the magnet K-12 educational organization, O,R&L has committed to support CREC’s Promoting & Cultivating Educational Innovation program. The exciting new initiative is designed to empower CREC teachers, staff and students to develop the skills to be entrepreneurial leaders, creatively addressing the demands of education in the 21st century.
The program facilitates a culture of bottom-up innovation, providing various stakeholders the support, time, and space to generate the new, innovative approaches to teaching and learning. Successful programs will be shared throughout the district thereby increasing the number of teachers and students who will benefit from innovative ideas and new learning strategies.
