O,R&L Construction is serving as Construction Manager for Albertus Magnus College’s Immersive Learning Collaboratory, located within the Hubert Campus Center in New Haven, CT. This project consists of the renovation of an existing campus wing to support the implementation of Dreamscape Learn’s virtual reality-enabled educational platform. The upgraded space will house immersive VR classrooms, a free-roam pod, and enhancements to the existing Esports lab, requiring careful coordination of specialized technology infrastructure, electrical systems, and interior finishes.
Designed to support a new model of experiential learning, the project integrates advanced audiovisual systems and flexible learning environments within an active campus setting. Construction is being executed in phases to minimize disruption to ongoing student activities, with completion scheduled for summer 2026 in advance of the program’s fall launch.
