General Contracting

The term general contractor stems from an accepted contract amount with an owner to perform a construction project under all general trades as described in the construction documents and specifications supplied by the owner. This traditional method facilitates a design-bid-build process where previously hired design professionals produce the design specifications as outlined by the owner. O,R&L, as general contractor, bids the drawings to subcontractors, establishes a full contract amount for materials, labor and coordination services, and completes the building of the project.
